Do YOU have a project for a good cause you’d like to undertake this year? Are YOU officially presenting some brilliant research you’ve poured blood, sweat, tears and other secretions into?
The Medical Leadership Seminar (MLS) is a recent initiative of the Society. This seminar aims to develop the skills and abilities required as future leaders in our society. It is an opportunity for students to gain skills and insights into areas ranging from effective communication, health advocacy and dealing with the media. The Sydney University Medical Society Medical Leadership seminar now enters its fourth iteration and, while primarily targeted towards SUMS delegates, MedSoc reserves a quota for medical students from other medical schools in NSW.
The event will take place on August 1.

The medical society has a budget specifically for running Health Advocacy Discussion Panels!
